Pearl River has acres of land dedicated to seasoning woods. Each section is labeled for what section of the piano it is to be used for and when. Pearl River states that if they stopped cutting wood now, they would still have enough to build pianos at the same rate of production (nearly 100,000 pianos per year!) for the next five years.
